For as far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated with children. Even as a teenager, I would fawn over little ones. I have had the extreme fortune of having three beautiful children of my own, and they are my world. I am a strong believer in Attachment Parenting, and believe that every child should be heard and respected. It is with this type of early childhood care that kids grow up to feel valued and confident as they move through life.
I graduated with honours from the State College of Florida with an Associate of Arts degree, and have also taken university level courses such as Human Growth and Development, Child Psychology and Nutrition.
I am trained in Infant and Child CPR as well as advanced first aid, and I have a background working in nursing homes and hospitals, as well as with people with special needs , both big and small!
I continue to further my education on a regular basis. Lifelong learning is a very important part of what I practice and what I pass on to my family.
